I have a general question of the Pool deployment when you first install OCS2007 Enterprise Edition. Does the Pool FQDN absolutely have to be the same as your AD domain? Example:
Pool Name: OCSPOOL
Domain: us.microsoft.com
Pool FQDN: OCSPOOL.us.microsoft.com
I want to make my pool FQDN: - OCSPOOL.whatever.com - instead of the default during pool installation.
Is this possible?...or will it screw up or complicate matters later during server and user deployment. Better to find out now rather than install the entire deal and regret it later.
Thanks
