LCS 2005 + IM Manager 8.0 + Assentor 3.4

Has anyone gotten LCS 2005 working in an environment that uses IM Manager exporting to Assentor? IM Manage is successfully capturing IM conversations and exporting them to Assentor. Assentor is failing on the ingestion of these messages, from what I can see it is because these messages have "sip:" in front of the email address in the "buddyName" field.
